Official Ryzom client for Ubuntu and Debian

Ubuntu Software Center

Since September 2011, Ryzom is available in Ubuntu Software Center.

Just click on Buy... button to install it (it costs $0).

Once it's installed, you can launch it from Applications menu and it will download and patch data if necessary.

All data are downloaded in ~/.ryzom/data, your profile is located at ~/.ryzom and Ryzom is installed in /opt/ryzom

Just add ppa:ryzom-isv/ppa as repository source and install the ryzom package
