Open Shard

If you want to test Ryzom Core, we installed a shard where you can connect and see a basic version of Ryzom Core.

How to connect on the OpenShard

Download the latest client:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/ryzom/files/0.8.0/

or

Downloads for Windows

Just extract (3.5GB) it and run the executable inside the directory.

It'll automatically connect to the OpenShard.

If this is the first time you connect, just enter the login and password you want and if the login doesn't exists, the server will add it with the specified password. You need to login 3 (three) times (click 3 times on login button and ignoring the error message) to automatically create necessary access.

When you are inside the shard, you can access Silan, the starting island. It's not Ryzom Game, it's just very small subset of Ryzom Game that is used to test and run Ryzom Core.

This Open Shard is not made to play. The shard can be rebooted at anytime, character saves can be wiped at anytime.

How to connect on the DevShard

The DevShard is back.

We are using that shard for development purpose.
If the shard is down or doesn't answer properly, ask Molator on irc .

Administrate the Open Shard

We installed the shard administration website for this server so anybody can see how it works.
